Manju Kapur’s Difficult Daughters won the Commonwealth Prize for best first novel, Eurasia region. Her other books have been shortlisted for the Encore Award, the Hutch-Crossword prize, the India Plaza Golden Quill Award, and the DSC Prize of South Asian Literature. Her novel, Custody was made into one of Balaji’s longest running serials, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Her latest book is The Gallery.
